Billy:

Billy:
You are punctual, dear friend, but be greeted and welcome again. Bernadette and I were happy that we were able to do the correction work already at 12:30 hrs, because now we two have time to talk. Afterwards I still have the budget with … to settle.

Ptaah:

Ptaah:
1. For his sake I will say a word again, but I greet you again, Eduard, dear friend. 1.
2. And while I am at it, I would like to mention what I want to say and what I have discussed with Quetzal and our board. 2. Und wenn ich schon dabei bin, dann will ich auch gleich erwähnen, was ich noch sagen will und was ich mit Quetzal und unserem Gremium besprochen habe.
3. They all find, as I personally privately explained to you during our last conversation on the 23rd of December, that it would only be right for you to bring up the whole thing at the next general meeting regarding his malicious, false and slanderous as well as anti-group and anti-mission behaviour directed against you. 3.
4. We also all find that we should now approach the matter from our own side, because you do not do this yourself and simply let injustice happen to you without you defending yourself against it. 4.
5. It would be right … also to suggest that he should seek his ways outside the FIGU, or that he should apologize to you and everyone and change his destructive attitude and attitude according to the truth. 5.
6. It is not acceptable that he continues to discredit you and all group members and witnesses with his insults and slander and that he puts us and the mission in a negative light. 6.
7. Whether an immediate expulsion or a first reminder should be issued, and whether two chances should still be given, as provided by the statutes, or whether an immediate cancellation of membership and a reference to an area should be enforced, this would have to be clarified at the general meeting. 7.
8. In my opinion, it is not right that he should continue to call on your help and that of the core group, because he does not optimize all your efforts, nor that he can live in the Centre in a way that is financially extremely comfortable for him, which he will not be able to do if he has to get by and exist outside the Centre. 8.
9. But his ungratefulness, as well as his slanderous insults against you, in which he also involves the group members, justify an exclusion from the FIGU and the community, according to Art. 5, 4a), 7) of the statutes, as well as Art. 11, 1) 9a) of the statutes, whereby, as I mentioned, a reflection period as well as an apology and reminder should be considered. 9.

Billy:

Billy:
That was already suggested by me – just as a result of the last contact conversation during which you pointed out this unpleasant thing with … – that the whole thing should be brought up at the next general meeting next Saturday. That was necessary because you said that you would present the unpleasant thing to Quetzal and the board and then report what to do. I think that is why you have already appeared for proofreading today and wanted to talk about the matter.

Ptaah:

Ptaah:
10. That is right, I wanted to bring you the reply from the committee and from Quetzal, but on the other hand I and Florena and Enjana would not be able to come to the correction work tomorrow. 10.
11. Also next Friday and Saturday this would not be possible, because all three of us are absent until Tuesday next week. 11.
12. But since I thought that the matter at hand was important and quick to settle, I scheduled my visit for today to report to you. 12.

Billy:

Billy:
Yeah, you said that before the correction work. But I think it is necessary in matters … that I should inform the President, the actuary etc. this evening so that they too can think about the matter and gather any necessary facts.

Ptaah:

Ptaah:
13. This is certainly necessary, but I must point out that on Saturday at the general meeting all necessary facts according to the statutes and rules have to be taken into account when discussing the matter. 13.
14. And since I still have several hours, probably until about midnight, to do with Florena and Enjana, I will listen to your conversation tonight about … 14.
15. If it should be then that I must still mention something in addition, then I will come here again. 15.

Billy:

Billy:
Well, then we just have to wait until Andreas and Barbara are back from their absence of several days.

Ptaah:

Ptaah:
16. Both will be back at the Centre in the near future. 16.

Billy:

Billy:
Ah, you already know that. Then we can deal with it right after dinner.

Ptaah:

Ptaah:
17. Then I will stand by. 17. Dann werde ich mich bereithalten.

Billy:

Billy:
Can I ask two more questions, one of which is private?

Ptaah:

Ptaah:
18. You can, because I am not in a hurry, because Florena and Enjana already do some of the necessary things, so I just have to do the rest together with them. 18.

Billy:

Billy:
Thank you. The first question refers to the endings of words that we have spoken about before, such as the one here I quote from a book: "… but they trigger all those and other unpleasant emotions that have been around for a long time." In this respect, there is a lack of clarity among our correctors, who have difficulty in judging when the 'n' should be omitted so that there is no double affirmation or negation. As you told me, your language scholars explained that it was an auditory logic thing and easy to judge when to omit the 'n' at the end of the word. According to my sense I now see in what I have said concerning 'unpleasant emotions' that it is a double negation or something like that, because in my understanding it should not be called 'unpleasant emotions' but 'unpleasant emotions'. So anyway, I understand your explanations according to your languages learned. Danke.

Ptaah:

Ptaah:
19. That is true, but I do not understand why this is not understood, because it is only through hearing and debate that the flaw can be seen. 19.
20. Unfortunately, as our language scholars explain, this serious error, like other errors, is so firmly anchored in the German language that the whole thing can hardly or not at all be corrected. 20.

Billy:

Billy:
Anyway, I can understand what you have explained, because it only needs a little hearing.

Ptaah:

Ptaah:
21. If the proofreaders do not understand the whole thing, they should not attempt to correct it, but simply leave the wrong spelling and language as it is incorrectly expressed in the German language. 21.

Billy:

Billy:
Probably for the best. Then the following question … Wird wohl das Beste sein. Dann folgende Frage …

Ptaah:

Ptaah:
22. … 22. …

Billy:

Billy:
That is clear. Das ist klar.

Ptaah:

Ptaah:
23. Then I will go now and make sure I can listen to your meeting. 23.
24. Goodbye, Eduard. 24. Auf Wiedersehn, Eduard.

Billy:

Billy:
Goodbye, too, and see you again. Auch auf Wiedersehn, und bis wieder einmal.

Continuation 21:44 hrs

Fortsetzung 21.44 Uhr

Ptaah:

Ptaah:
25. It turns out that I have to come back to correct the facts of the matter you have discussed, because some things are not such that they can be handled in the way that has been stated. 25.

Billy:

Billy:
Then I have to ask you how we should behave in relation to … exactly?

Ptaah:

Ptaah:
26. In accordance with the articles of association, a three-fold reminder is usually required, which in principle means that a first and second reminder and then a third and final reminder are issued, whereby this should also be associated with a period of reflection, so that a misbehaving member is given the opportunity of better fortune and an apology. 26.

Billy:

Billy:
So the staff about the person in question should not be broken right away, as they say, which is probably right, as I think, because a last chance must remain open. As far as I know, however, a warning has already been issued twice, but it says that a warning of three times is required for exclusion from the general assembly.

Ptaah:

Ptaah:
27. That's right what you have said, but it has to be taken into account, as Quetzal explained to me when I consulted him before coming here, that three reminders are necessary and only when there is another infringement after the third reminder, according to the statutes and rules an exclusion from the general meeting can take place. 27.
28. Something else is not in the sense of the thing, because it must be given by a third reminder a last chance, as you yourself say, everything should be said with it. 28.
29. A third reminder does not mean exclusion, but a last chance, therefore … in the end you have to decide for yourself what should be. 29. Eine dritte Mahnung bedeutet also keinen Ausschluss, sondern eine letzte Chance, folglich sich … nun letztendlich selbst entscheiden muss, was sein soll.
30. If, however, he rejects this opportunity and persists in rejecting it, then the case is clear and inevitable with regard to an exclusion from the general meeting. 30.
31. However, the termination rules must also be observed and adhered to, as stipulated in the Articles of Association and Bylaws. 31.
32. A special case only comes into force when an immediate and thus immediate exclusion occurs, which however requires particularly blatant incidents. 32. Ein Sonderfall tritt erst dann in Kraft, wenn ein umgehender und also sofortiger Ausschluss erfolgt, was jedoch besonders krasser Vorkommnisse bedarf.
33. So you should discuss the matter and the exact specifications again to align yourself. 33.

Billy:

Billy:
It's a good thing you came back here and explained everything. Thank you, dear friend. Danke, lieber Freund.

Ptaah:

Ptaah:
34. Then I go and turn to the work I still have to do. 34.
35. Goodbye, Eduard. 35. Auf Wiedersehen, Eduard.

Billy:

Billy:
Goodbye, Ptaah. Auf Wiedersehen, Ptaah.
