Canon 43: verses 153-177, pages 354 & 355

153. In truth, the Earth human lives a life that does not ever deserve the designation life, in the true sense.

154. And if the human ever compares his dishonest and purely material life with the true life, which he could easily achieve and live, then a howling misery would rise up inside of him.

155. Even when it corresponds to the truth that such a life stems from the creational BEING, and, in him, is truly only really - and therefore also always - one with him, every human must indeed first know this, so that this great truth can become fruitful for the individual, and thereby everything is comprehended through the thinking of this human, and constantly lives in his consciousness.

156. This serves as an example: a dog has lain for years chained in front of his doghouse, and he has already been aware for years that he has been bound and shackled with the strong chain.

157. The chain holds him so firmly that he has already long given up and almost forgotten all attempts to free himself, in spite of the fact that he still possesses the strength to break out.

158. But one day a link of the chain wears through and the chain breaks, but because he already lived so many years of his life in the consciousness of a prisoner, he makes no attempt whatsoever to grasp freedom and walk away from there.

159. The entire world would suddenly lie before him, were he only aware of his strength.

160. But he still continues, day after day, to lie in front of his doghouse longing for freedom, and still remains a prisoner of himself.

161. But one day a cat comes by and the dog springs up.

162. Because the cat jumps away he chases after it far out beyond the length of the chain which had restrained him until then.

163. And behold: suddenly a wonderful freedom overcomes him - and he runs and runs.

164. The prison of the chain and the doghouse suddenly vanishes and is forgotten, and only freedom has possession of him.

165. It is exactly like that with the human.

166. Because millennia-old, incorrect deliverances and false teachings have preached false gods to him, he no longer knows himself.

167. So, however, he also no longer knows of the strengths and possibilities that lie within him and are suppressed.

168. The human's psyche has become a prisoner of the material, and the human's corporal nature hinders him from glimpsing more than only a weak shimmer of the true light.

169. But certainly the day will come when the human will venture forward somewhat further than usual in his thoughts, and then still a little bit further, and further.

170. Then the inner light will gleam in him and he catches, to start with, only a small and fleeting glimpse of his true essence.

171. Indeed, then comes the point in time in which he becomes somewhat more aware of it, and then still somewhat more.

172. So the light of truth with which, namely, he is one, with eternal life and with the eternal power of his essence, gradually comes on for him.

173. This light then illuminates his entire psyche and takes possession of it.

174. Awakened through this new consciousness, the human holds the thoughts of this oneness firmly, and thereby now progressively lives in these thoughts, his life now flows in constant actualization of the oneness of the creational BEING.

175. And thus the terrestrial Earth human is transmuted into the human who is of Creation.

176. Compared to the new life, the old one only deserves the name death, because ignorance and narrow-mindedness is like that.

177. But this deadly life is no longer able to shackle the new human who, before, in the old life, in a certain sense, had actually been dead - a living corpse.

How does one begin to achieve a new life as a human of Creation?

We suggest that a persistent logical study of the following is a good way to start.
